Bleuler Award

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the term “schizoprenia”, the Bleuler Prize has been established by Prof. Franz X. Vollenweider in 2008 in recognition of an individual who has made innovative and lasting contributions to the area of schizophrenia or closely related consciousness research. The Prize will be granted biannually by the Heffter Research Center Zürich after review by the award committee. The Prize winner receives the Bleuler Medal, CHF 5000 for personal allowances and is invited to present the award lecture during the Bleuler Symposium.
