Research

Work conducted in our group utilizes a multi-modal approach across experiential (e.g., self-report, narrative), behavioral (e.g., behavioral task paradigms, FACS), and neurobiological (e.g., peripheral psychophysiology, neuroendocrine, EEG, FMRI) levels of analysis. We combine experimental lab research with more naturalistic studies and also use Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA). We participate in consortia and large scale longitudinal studies, e.g., H2020 Dynamore (www.dynamore.org); are running two clinical trials in in- and outpatient settings attached to the KPPP (OPTIMAX, SPIN). We are also part of a clinical research priority program (UZH Synapse & Trauma).
