Milan Scheidegger has been awarded with a grant of 50’000 CHF for his project "Mindfulness and Psychedelics: A neurophenomenological approach to the characterization of acute and sustained response to DMT in experienced meditators" by the BIAL Foundation. The project applies an innovative approach to obtaining highly precise first-person accounts of DMT-enhanced-mindfulness in experienced meditators and assessing their impact on reorganization of brain activity and connectivity with multimodal brain imaging.
