Humanities in Mental Health (Dr. A. Maatz)

This group offers a “cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural space for bidirectional critical interrogation of both biomedicine (…) and the humanities (…)” (Kristeva et al. 2018:56) as well as for concrete research that crosses disciplinary, methodological and paradigmatic boundaries between clinical and biological psychiatry, the humanities, arts, social- and cultural sciences as well as experiential knowledge.

Our research focusses on applying such an approach to the investigation of aspects of language in the context of mental health.
