The links between schizophrenia spectrum disorders (SSD), violence and general offending are complex and yet poorly understood. As a research group of the forensic-psychiatric department, holding over 100 beds and specialized on the treatment of such
SSD offender patients, we find optimal research conditions in the oftentimes longstanding inpatient treatment of our patients. Our mission is to shed light on this still nebulous field by means of modern scientific methods of examination and evaluation.
